Pastor Donnie felt a calling on his life for 25 years to church plant, however, it never seemed like the right time.  In May 2019 he was in a serious truck accident and while he was pinned in the truck for hours waiting to be cut out by first responders, God clearly spoke to him that the time is now.

God healed him from the accident and simultaneously spoke to his wife about planting ReFresh Church in Waddell. Together, they have graduated from Calvary Chapel Rosarito, Mexico's church planting course, and have been sent out to share the love and hope of Jesus to the world, beginning with Waddell, Arizona. In 2021, Pastor Donnie and Coby felt prompted to go back to their roots and have since (following the vetting process) become Refresh Calvary, AZ. 

Pastor Robert and Sandra studied under the teaching at Calvary Chapel San Juan for a number of years before the Lord led them to Arizona.  They love to study God's word and to serve those around them.  This gifted couple teaches at Refresh Calvary.  Their 2 sons attend the Refresh Learning Center.

Pastor Chris and Sherry became part of the church 5 years ago when Refresh Calvary sang Christmas carols in front of their home.  Since then, Chris has brought his background and experience with the Vineyard Church and his extensive worship talents to us. They use their  gifts to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Together with his beautiful wife, they serve the people at Refresh Calvary with joy.
